This zoo has several exhibits, including Birds’ World, Children’s Zoo, African Tropical Forest, and Gorilla Grove. Here, you can visit more than 1000 animals and 220 species, including African lions, Masai Giraffes, Red pandas, Turtles, Morgan Horses, etc.

This medium-to-small-sized zoo covers about 26 acres in Stoneham, Massachusetts, and was founded in 1905 as the Middlesex Fells Zoo, with a small collection of local animals that gradually began to include more exotic species. Although it is smaller than Franklin Zoo, it is really worth visiting as it has quite different exhibitions.
Some new exhibits were created, and the existing one was expanded and upgraded; now, it has many exhibit areas, including Alfred Huang North, American Crane Exhibit, Animal Discovery Center, Barnyard, Caribbean Coast, Himalayan Highland, etc.
These exhibits are available to visitors in winter, fall, summer, and spring. However, there are some seasonal exhibits available. Birds of Play is an outdoor wild birds demonstration that runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and Zoo Lights is an annual holiday light exhibit, which runs from Thanksgiving through Christmas days.
