Italy’s Mediterranean climate with exciting activities for each season makes it the destination of the year. In general, summers are warm and dry and winters are cold and humid. In general, the best months to visit Italy are April to June and September to October when the weather is easily warm. July and August can be barely warm, with most Italians going on holiday in August and closing many shops and restaurants.
